Europium Shiraz-Viognier 2026
Europium is element, 63. It is a rare earth element and is named after the continent of Europe, named after Europa, a Phoenician princess from the city of Tyre. This wine is made in the Côte-Rôtie style of the Northern Rhone in France, by Danish and African partners. Like ancient and modern Europe, it is blend of old and new, and representative of diversity and inclusion, qualities represented by Europa herself.
This wine is inspired by the environment, and by ideas of blending and inclusion, which make the final outcome better than each of the components. Europium is our Flagship wine.

Fermentation Notes
The co-ferment was inoculated immediately following pressing and was pigiaged three times daily until the sugar dropped below 0 degrees Balling. The wine was left in tank for a further week with a gentle twice-daily pigiage to extract flavour and colour from the skins. The wine was transferred to a second-fill barrel and was immediately inoculated to induce malolactic fermentation. The wine is currently maturing, awaiting bottling before next year’s harvest.
